Brandon Snyder had a GREAT game tonight - 2-3, 2 runs, 2 doubles... HE is the O's 1B of the future!!!

Baltimore has taken several players from Triple-A Norfolk this season, and Aubrey was acquired to help flesh out the organization's depth.

"He's going to Triple-A," said manager Dave Trembley. "He's going to Triple-A to give them some inventory, some offense, a guy that will help them out because we've taken a couple of players up here. He's going to Triple-A to try and help their offense somewhat. That's what that's all about."

He is no where the answer to the future first baseman.

The last time the O's got from the Indians was Jeremy Guthrie. However Guthrie IS NOT a typical ace of the rotation. He's more of a 2nd or 3rd in the starting rotation. Seems like the Indians hasn't drafted any good players in the first round for a while (both Guthrie and Aubrey was a first-rounder). Ironically Aubrey was picked ahead of Markakis in the same draft....

It was either Rick Dempsey or this awful announcer said it - he might be the first baseman of the future... I was like HUH, I didn't hear that. :shock:
