I think 2008 Heroes is a good value break, but lacks the super big hit potential.

You also can't go wrong with a case of 2008 or 2009 Legendary cuts- this is one of the few products that gives you a chance at a $5000+++ card, and plus you'll get three cut autographs in your case with a good shot at some nice retired/deceased player game used cards and great autos.

If you are going with Cuts then go 2008.2009 is a heaping pile of shat.

I've done pretty well with it- I've pulled a dual hanram/ripken auto/5, clark griffith cut auto, Bill Veeck cut auto, three mystery cuts, and several good jerseys/10, plus a few more minor cut autos to boot, including Lou Boudreau. And this is out of about one and a half cases worth of loose boxes.

07 bcdp. So awesome and continues to be a solid $ maker 2 years after release. Can’t think of many (any?) other products that do the same. Only downside is LOTS of sorting.

Vintage- prime cuts or topps sterling. Sterling’s come down a bit in price, so w/live.com discount + ebay bucks (if you get them) + bigcrumbs, you can get a case fairly cheaply.
