Serious question, who is the best white American in the NBA? David Lee? Chris Kaman? I don't know.

Jennings got me watching the Bucks ,but Bogut has been the most impressive player on the team this year. His D is 10x better than it use to be. David Lee has put up some nice numbers ,but his D is awful.

Bogut has a number of things working against him.

1. Position: Big guys don't get hobby love for the most part
2. Market: The Bucks, enough said.
3. Consistency: He gets on streaks where he looks dominant, and then loses that momentum
4. Injury: Part of the problem above, but the guy hasn't been the healthiest player that last few years.

Agree on all points. His stuff is dirt cheap though. If he became a 20/10/3 guy you could still make a buck (no pun intended) or two. He was 24/13/2 tonight.

20.3 PPG, 11.5 RPG, 3.5 APG should deserve a little love as well.

Sincerely,

David Lee

EDIT: Didn't see Lee already mentioned, I can say one thing Lee's D has definitely improved over last season. It is still nothing spectacular but may be coming around.

Say hello to the popularity of the NBA of the 70's.

You are High. The NBA has never been more popular based on China. Yao Ming and Yu Jian (SP) literally have 1 BILLION people watching them. Don't believe Stern for one second when he claims that the NBA will lose 400 Million this year.

Any sport that can get 100k+ in attendance for an All-Star Game is anything but dying.

The league hasn't been this talented in a long time.
The league has never had as big of a world wide audience.
The league's stars haven't been this likable in a long time.
The league's historic franchises haven't been this good or had as big a future in a long time.

MJ got over 60,000 people to watch a Hawks game back in 98...again, a Hawks game.

The NBA is a dying breed and is desperately in need of a universally marketbale savior. Maybe MJ should lace em up for one more go around.

You're joking right? LeBron and Kobe are a universally marketable item. Come on do some research.

Universally marketbale? Is that exclusively minorities? Try appealing to all colors of the spectrum.

If you want to go by ratings does that mean the MLB is about dead? I see a much steeper decline in world series viewership than I do with the NBA.

Also, I think it doesn't matter if there is another MJ or not. Those that gave up on the post Jordan NBA are clearly not going to give it another chance, because if they did they would know about the amazing players that are in the league right now. Watch Kevin Durant or Lebron James and tell me they aren't a reason to watch a game. Watch a Lakers vs. Celtics game and tell me there isn't a reason to watch that game. Watch Lebron and Wade trade basket for basket and tell me there isn't reason to watch that game.
