You're welcome. eChecks are just like regular checks. You have to wait for them to clear before the money is yours. If their account is short - no money. If they stop payment - no money.

It's been a way to scam in the past.

When you look at payment status in your "sold" section of the selling section instead od seeing a colored in dollar sign you should see a half filled hour glass. When payment clears, the hour glass will change to that filled in dollar sign. As Adam stated do not send until that payment clears.

And from the 2 or 3 I've gotten on eBay they never clear.

I got one a few months back, and the buyer whined that i was taking too long to ship. I wrote back saying i have to wait for the echeck to clear before shipping. He left me a negative, which i got removed with a phonecall to ebay.

so like everyone else has said, do not ship until it clears.
