Ok guys and gals. Taking a trip to Cooperstown with the lady in a couple weeks and I want to know what your favorite food spot is there. Thanks in advance!

I like the simple Cooperstown Cafe down and across the street. Very simple little diner with good burgers and fried chicken.

For something a little nicer, I really like the restaurant in the Otesaga Hotel. Not overly formal, but a VERY old school feel to it (wood paneling and such), and I had a great piece of fish and a nice dessert.

Enjoy Cooperstown!

Also, if you're into this type of thing, my brother and I had a nice little side trip to the Ommegang Brewery (about 15 minutes away frm the HOF). Not food, but a nice little tasting room with friendly people, good snacks, and of course some nice libation. Be careful driving home!

should be easy access to cooperstown this year. Economy is killing off the town pretty quick. I went down there two weeks ago and was told this was the worst winter they ever had for business and the weather was warm most of the winter.

Can't remember the name of the place, but very small and greaet burgers. It's on the opposite side of the street as HOF and to the left if facing the Post Office. Maybe a block or 2? On the main strip.

Nicoletta's is a little nicer Italian place. Alex & Ika is also good, that is up by Chestnut and Main St. If you want good pub food with good size portions...Doubleday Cafe is the way to go. That is right on Main St.

That's definitely the Cooperstown Cafe that I described above. One room with like four tables on the left and a counter on the right. Straight diner food and straight delicious.

Went a month ago and Cooperstown was dead. I figured its more of a summer place, as when I went a few years ago, the streets were filled.

There's a restaurant in the basement of this house. It's right next to the park area, by a hat store on the corner. I forget the name but the burgers were fantastic and the prices were cheap.

IDK the name of it but when I went a couple of years ago there was a place down the street from the hall in between 2 card shops I think anyway, I order lasanga (my favorite food) thinking I am going to get a slice of lasanga. They bring this thing out and it was bigger than my head and was probably a good 4 or 5 inches tall it could have fed a family of like 8 I gave it a solid run trying to eat it all but good god that is the biggest piece of lasanga I have ever seen in my life.
