Two tie for the top spot:

1. Longhorns over Trojans, with Vince showing Reggie Bush who should have won the Heisman (which was rightly taken away from Bush a few years later)

2. Mavs over Heat, I watched the clinching game while in a pub 30 minutes away from Dirk's hometown in Germany, celebrating with a handful of expats and US Army Mavericks fans, then running around, slightly intoxicated, yelling at the top of our lungs through the neighborhood the bar was in, at 630 in the morning

Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather jr. Would be if they get it to together and fight each other....

SF Giants 2010, 2012 WS champion ships

Bo Jackson running over Brian Boswerth, I was 8 or 9 when I saw that an instantly became a die hard Raiders fan....

If I stick to games that I actually went to, I can never describe the sounds, and emotions of these two events:

Tracy Porter intercepting Peyton Manning in Super Bowl XLIV to seal the win for the Saints.

Midges vs Joba was pretty fun to watch too.

Something that wouldn't be a blip on the radar for anyone else....

1996 Indiana High School Basketball Regional. Over 10,000 people packed into the world's largest high school gym to see a real life David vs Goliath. Batesville (David) lost to New Castle (Goliath) in OT on a 3/4 court shot at the buzzer. It was the last time small schools would ever have a chance to repeat what was portrayed in the movie Hoosiers. The next year Indiana went to the multi-class system that nearly all of the US had adopted. I remember the absolute stillness during the anthem and just knowing it was going to be a classic. Oh an end to an era.

1. April 7, 2003 - Syracuse winning the NCAA title over Kansas, 81-78. No moment in sports will ever top that for me.
2. The Blue Jays winning back-to-back World Series in 1992 and 1993.
3. The Yankees losing the 2001 WS and 2004 ALCS...always enjoy seeing the Bombers go down, but those two times were sweet.

As far as in-person moments go, I'd say...
1. November 14(?), 1998 - Syracuse vs. Virginia Tech in the Dome. Donovan McNabb leads the Orange down the field in the final two minutes, leading to the last-second TD pass to Steve Brominski to stun the Hokies.

honorable mention:
-1997 - Mariners at Red Sox - Jay Buhner falling into the bullpen making a home run-robbing catch...I was down the RF line between the dugout and Pesky Pole
-2011 - Justin Germano pitching a perfect game for the Columbus Clippers here in Syracuse

Still very cool though.

I was at a state basketball game a couple years ago. 4 OTs, and a bunch of screaming people.

On TV: 2008 World Series Game Six.

In Person: 1993 Orange Bowl - Florida State beat Nebraska 18-16 and won their first National Championship. The combination of being in college at the time, with all of my fraternity bros and girlfriend, in the stands... great time.
