Whats with Gordon Beckham's cards getting so hot lately?

this just ended recently. I bought 2 of these for around $53 dlvd each a few weeks ago

and it isnt just this card it is pretty much all his cards
did I miss something?

even these cards raw are ending like $60-80 and his 09 bowman autos are around $35

Honestly, there's really no plausible explanation for any player's cards being hot right now being the offseason short of the Yankees, Phillies, or Jason Heyward.

Someone just HAS to have his cards NOW. They will be available for their usual offseason lows in about one to two months, guaranteed.

Did you pick up 9.5's for $53 each? That's a pretty slick deal.

I was watching this auction as well. more to gauge if my BIN is set too high on my identical card. I'd love for them to stay that high, but I'm sure they'll return to earth sooner than later.
