I'm in the process of moving into a new apartment and started packing up my collection. One thing I came across are two balls that were hit at the 1999 Home Run Derby at Fenway Park. I was chosen to represent the Boston RBI baseball league at the Derby and got to shag balls during the contest. It wasn't until the second round that I realized that we didn't have to throw the balls back in and was able to pocket two of the balls that were hit into the outfield, one hit by my childhood idol, Ken Griffey Jr. and the other by Jeromy Burnitz. All of the balls that were used are marked with the player's initials so they could be identified later. I don't think I'd give up the Griffey ball for anything. So what do you have in your collection that you wouldn't even consider selling for any amount?

43 05 ws baseballs, each signed by the white sox. many are IP, some are steiner, some schwartz sports, some elite sports marketing.
I collected single-signed ws balls for about two years, but only decided to start the project in january 07 and finished in january 08. to some, i may have been an idiot in my spending (like $60 for brandon mccarthy) to others, it's a cool piece (or pieces) of white sox history.
i have the 25 man ws roster
all coaches including the bullpen catcher.
the GM, the main owner
a few players not on the 25 man roster (like Frank Thomas, etc)

I have a Hall of Fame book that I got for a Graduation present from my mother in 1999.

I have 7 different HOF Autos in it so far...

Rod Carew
Bob Feller
Ozzie Smith
Ralph Kiner
Bill Mazeroski
Luis Aparicio
Yogi Berra

All autos are IP.

I want to get as many Hall of Fame autos as I can so that I can pass it to my sons when I am gone.

It means even more to me now that my mom passed away.

Hoping to add Harmon Killebrew and Paul Molitor at Twins Fest.
