I thought this would be fun.

Players:
1.Will Middlebrooks [25hrs 100 rbi's .280 ba is possible]
2.Carlos Santana [He got better hitters around him this year]
3.David Freese [I thinkhe is ready for a 35-40 hr season with 100+ rbi's

Teams:
1.Indians-[If sp holds up they will challenge for a playoff spot]
2.Pirates-[I believe they will challenge for the playoffs also]
3.Dodgers-[If healthy they challenge for the Championship] Will make playoffs!

2. Wily Peralta
3. Jesus Montero / Domonic Brown

1. Indians
2. Padres
3. Brewers (All that really needs to happen is for one of the young pitchers to take a step forward - the offense is there and the bullpen revamped)

With CY returning to form, I think all four A's OFers will have big years...:D

Not really a breakout here either but I think Dom Brown, Bauer and Machado will all show why they've had so much hype with consistent, slowly improving type of years...

Here are a few just for fun.
Matt Moore - Future Cy Young winner in my opinion...he takes a step in the right direction this year
Brett Jackson - I think he'll have an inconsistent season but his overall numbers will be strong.
Andrew McCutchen - Not really a breakout since he's already done that, but I think he cements his status as one of the top 5 players in the game and wins NL MVP.
Logan Morrison - Looking at a likely slow start to the season with coming back from injury but he finds his groove by the all star break and finishes with a very strong 2nd half
Eric Hosmer - I think he goes .280/25/85 this year after last season's disappointment
Max Scherzer - Impressive K totals last season and he improves consistency this year to get to the next level
Paul Goldschmidt - May be tougher now that Justin Upton is out of the lineup, but this guy could go off for 35 homeruns

Breakout team is the Pirates. The young guys are coming back with a little more experience this year and their lineup will be strong. The question is whether they have enough pitching to get them into the postseason. The Reds and Cardinals will make it tough on them in the Central, but I think they break the playoff draught with a Wild Card berth this year.

Mine include:

Jason Heyward: Yes, he's put up good stats in the past, but I don't think he's peaked by any means. I think that, with the addition of the Upton brothers, his offensive numbers will improve; he's already shown he's a great fielder as well.

Jordan Zimmermann: He's been getting consistently better year after year and I think 2013 is when he'll finally start getting the due he deserves, after Gio started getting noticed last year.

Mark Trumbo: With a lineup that includes Pujols, Hamilton, and Trout, I think he'll put up pretty big numbers.

I also think that guys like Tommy Hanson, Max Scherzer, and Carlos Santana will put up better stats and will be among the most improved.

I expect breakout years from: Domonic Brown, Nolan Reimold, Justin Smoak, Jason Kipnis

Monster year: Stephen Strasburg. I think he'll win 20 and have over 250 K's.
