As I look around the chaos that is my office, I really need to get better organized and get rid of some stuff that is just taking up space. Let's see what percentage of FCB falls into the same category :)

Nice poll Dan  It would be cool to see what stuff you have lying around considering the beautiful gems you have in your collection ;)

I hit a point in my collecting where I was like "why do I have all this stuff"?
I stopped finding joy in my PC. So I sold all my HOFer gameused (well 90% of it).
Cleaned out a whole lot of space. Took the funds and put it into my HOF
autographed baseball collection which I enjoy. Maybe one day the balls will
go too, but I hope not! ;)

Its amazing what a little occasional pruning can do, especially when you reinvest back into your (now better-focused) collection. IMO simply buying everything isn't as much fun as having a focus or two.

We recently moved into an apartment and I had to make a choice about whether to pack it all or not. I chose not. I shaved about 40% of the volume my collection away and gave it away to my friends who had kids who were old enough to somewhat appreciate them. Now I am not buying any new cards until we move into the new house later this year.

Nice to know someone enjoys them since I just had them sitting in a box in a closet.

I voted for the need to sell some things.

I purchase many items with the 100% intention on selling at a later point in time. It just never seems to happen, lol !

None of the above fit me:

I feel like sometimes this unorganized mess is not worth adding to.

I typically only trade, but still I feel overwhelmed at times. My Sosa collection is far from organization; I don't even know how many cards I have. It's somewhere between 800-1000 I'm guessing.

I recently sold off all of the autos, game used and patches that weren't PC (thanks boomo), but still have plenty of inserts, rookies and commons to move.

So, I chose D. As I do tend to pick up random things at random times.

I really need to move a lot of my non Canes PC stuff, but I can't force myself to move them at the current low prices. Im not in desparate need of $, so thats not an issue, they are just taking up so much space. I wish I could convince myself to just list a bunch of stuff at auction but thats not happening. Hope to get a ton of BIN/BO up in the next two weeks

All the cards I don't care to keep, I send to COMC. I couldn't believe the value of the cards I had laying around for years that I didn't care to keep.

I am happy with all the Babe Ruth stuff I have in my collection. It is getting pretty huge. I always had a direction with my collection. To pick up all the old school HOFers in Basbeball first and Football second. I've never bought anything that didn't have a place. Just wonder what it will bring when I finally throw in the towel on it.

I have it trimmed it down to only the cards that I really want to keep, and I am proud of it.

I got rid of 4 large flat rate boxes in the recent past. I have just one monster box full remaining which I am looking to move. The rest of my stuff is all PC, and a small box with 200-300 cards for trading. I am glad I have weeded out many things from my collection and have just the things I enjoy. I have been trading less and less now and buying just the stuff I want.

For those of you that picked answer #3 - what sites other than ebay do you turn to/are you going to try to sell singles or lots?
