Maybe it was Nikobaseball, but I dealt with someone on here who used a type of wax or polish that took the scratches right out. Made the cases look like new again. Wish I could remember who that was and what they used...

you could always resubmit and get a new case and a higher grade!

Enough already, three posts and three less than subtle shots at BGS. We get it.

And although the card's grade does come first for me, I'd rather have a clean slab than a scratched one. That slab renew sounds promising.

So we all know that the stuff is overgraded but as long as its our cards they are overgrading
its ok? The real issue here is a few scratches on the case? oh ok.

95% of grades I see are perfectly legit, the rest are merely questionable.

It's rare that I see one that is way off, very rare.

Except when its a Strasburg 1/1. Remember the old days when 80/20 was a BGS 8? Its a joke
now. 9.5's used to be really strong cards, now its most cards. Its all about money and
a guy who gets 10 cards graded and 5 of them are 8's isn't going to come back for more. I guess if I had never submitted cards around 2000 and 2001 I wouldn't see anything wrong
with BGS, but what they do now is a joke.

The red 1/1 bowman Strasburg got a 9 with 4 whited corners. I think it's even worse the superfractor getting 9.5.

AMEN, BROTHA! The good ole days

BY THE WAY, according to Beckett, the highest grade you can get on an 80/20 card is vg-ex 4.

Again, you've finished second place in the game of life
