That eBay seller is a prominent FCBer - I'm sure he'll clear things out, about the PSA thing. As for lack of numbering: they are back-doored. As he alludes to.

That's me. I didn't mean to write PSA 10 in that auction, as I had this one for sale, too:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :MESELX:IT

That card is not numbered. I purchased it at a card show in a lot not realizing about the non-numbering part.

Which reminds me I just sold that one with PSA 10 in the listing ::facepalm:: Is there a way to mutually cancel an item without getting a negative or am I screwed? Also, for some reason I still have it up for sale while I have one sold, what does that mean?

Thanks and sorry about the confusion; I wasn't trying to dupe anyone with the PSA 10 thing.

Im assuming back doored means they are making their own, but maybe someone can clarify the meaning for me.

If it means what I think it means, how are people making their own refractors? I thought they were pretty secure. If this is true, things could get ugly if somone has access to a stamping machine.

It means that they were leaked from someone at Topps, or the printer. Not that he made his own.

It's extremely doubtful that anything was leaked from the printer. Topps is vigilant during the printing process to make sure that they have tabs on every sheet, every card, even the make-readys. Topps basically monitors the printing process for all of their products like studios guard the editing companies who are working down the final cuts on potential blockbusters or serious piracy candidates.

These measures were put in place after someone connected to the 1993 Finest Printing ended up with an un-cut refractor sheet.

At least 23 unnumbered 2009 Bowman Red (1/1) sheets have surfaced. I was told they were given to distributors. Unsure if that's true or they were backdoored. So they need to either tighten their security or stop giving limited edition stuff away. So much potential for a scam. :(

There was a discussion on Topps' Facebook page about the unnumbered refractors.
2006 chrome and sterling have tons of them out there for a lot of players.
I got stuck with a little handfull of lorenzo cain xfractors too. I think there's still 3 or 4 listings of his gold refractors that aren't numbered on ebay.
