Was crushed, but went to Indiana University, got a B.S. in Psychology and got saved there too, so I'm not complaining!
O god that's exactly me. I have the grades to get in and I'm sure the SAT score (pending my results) but I'm not sure I'll get in being how competitive it is now. If I don't I'll definently be crushed as it is my favorite school and #1 choice.
At the time it was the biggest disappointment I had ever felt in my life, but like I said, things worked out nicely. Had I gone to ND I may not be walking with the Lord, probably would not have done mission work overseas, would not have met my wife, or be a new daddy, etc, etc, etc. Things have a way of working out. That said, good luck with ND! It's an awesome school!

Yea it's an awesome school, but I definently understand your point of view. Who do you do your mission work through? I go down to Mexico each year through Amor Ministries for mission work and I'm pretty sure they go overseas as well.

My wife and I work for Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru), it's the largest interdenominational mission organization globally. It's a full-time thing for us. We also coordinate efforts with several other organizations like InterVarsity, Wycliffe, World Vision, and others. It's awesome you go down for that every year!
