could Texas be in play?

When I think about who has money, they certainly come up.
I heard Texas has enough money to go after Fielder and CC

Being a huge brewer fan it will be sad to see him go, but yes all he cares about is the money. He could stay here and have a better career and be loved by all fans even after retirement, probably ending up making more money if he stays, but I see him going to these teams. Nationals, Angels, Marlins Giants or Red Sox.

His father taught him well.

As a Mariners fan, I think I might be the only person who does not want him. I love the way, Jack Z is taking the Mariners. They have one of the most defensive fields in all of baseball, so what is he doing, he's developing pitchers. I personally would prefer that we go after someone like Darvish and continue to homegrow our offense. My dream lineup in three years would consist of Felix Hernandez, Yu Darvish, Michael Pineda, Danny Hultzen and either James Paxton or Tijuana Walker. I know people want to see offense in Seattle, but we have some pretty good offensive prospects (Liddi, Franklin, Chavez, Catricala) not to mention Dustin Ackley and Justin Smoak. Plus I'm pretty sure we could go after Darvish and have enough money left over to go after a decent hitter in free agency.

The Giants made around $300-400 million from the WS win so thes should have money. If the Giants somehow manage to get him, this would be a really good line-up:

1. Coco Crisp (CF) -- if he is signed as a FA
2. Freddy Sanchez (2B)
3. Pablo Sandoval (3B)
4. Prince Fielder (1B)
5. Buster Posey (C)
6. Nate Schierholtz (RF)
7. Brandon Belt (LF)
8. Brandon Crawford (SS)
9. Pitcher

Bench:
Huff
Chris Stewart or other back-up catcher
Keppinger
Pill
Anyone else

Staff:
1. Lincecum
2. Bumgarner
3. Cain
4. Vogelsong
5. Sanchez

CP Wilson
SU Romo
SU Lopez
MRP Affeldt
MRP Ramirez
MRP Cassila
MRP Mota

I'll throw a team out there I haven't seen mentioned yet.

Toronto

They will need help to compete in the AL East and will have money available after getting rid of the Wells and Rios contracts.

Time for me to chime in. :)

I would hold the Orioles, Marlins, and Rangers as the primary contenders. Although I do think one of the two of the Yankees/Red Sox will get into the rumors at some point. I don't see the Brewers allowing him to go to the Cubs as I would bet they would bite the bullet and match an offer to a division rival. I've been saying this all along - if Fielder is smart, he'll create as many Cubs-based rumors as he can.

A lot of people are saying the Mariners. I just don't see this happening with Justin Smoak maturing and with the upcoming deals they need to make.

The Nationals have been vocal already about not being interested in Fielder, but I'm guessing this is a bluff - although I'm not ready to include them in the top-tier yet.

The Blue Jays should also have the money, but I don't see Prince accepting a deal to be a Canadian star unless it's way more money.

I think he ends up as a spokesman for an all you can eat joint and doing celebrity fights on the side.
