Chokin' on a chicken bone was classic! :lol: I think of that all the time when I see threads that really don't belong on a baseball card message board, people seeking advice for various crap. lol, I forgot about the chicken bone, classic! I think it was inspired by people coming to the boards asking for medical advice combined with various threads that demanded immediate responses. OMG auction ends in 3 minutes quick what should I do! or I have $300 in birthday money and I'm going to the store NOW what should I buy!

It's scary how many of the stories were more fact than fiction.

Ha, I remember the desert story.

I also remember JP getting a Einertson Gold Ref from PSA which included a "hair" sealed into the case....gross stuff.

As the creator of the Bucky Beckett cover....I have to say, that was one of my better posts. Funny thing, Stuart sent me an email asking if he could use the "cover" as an avatar on another site. He was cool with the cover until the entire BMB piled on in his thread and starting insulting him.....but what do you except when you seriously ask to be on the cover of Beckett based only on the fact you own every issue!?!?! Classic!
