Born and raised in Goose Creek SC. Moved once when I was a kid to Huntington, TN but for only a year. Went to school in Charleston about 7 miles away.

i spent 4 years stationed at the wepons station there in Goose Creek. i miss living there.

Wow thats interesting. I am currently in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin but grew up in Crystal Lake area and went to CL Central HS. My family still lives in the CL area and I know a few other members are also from CL and Lake In The Hills!!

I live about 20-25 miles away from Benton, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois.

MLB player and manager Ray Blades was born here. NBA player Nate Hawthorne was born here, and was good friends with my father.

Ray Blades went to my High School dude.

I was going to mention him, but I didn't think anyone would know who he was. He played for the Cardinals, Cubs and was a coach or manager too.

The Navy has pretty much left Charleston. The Weapons Station still has a Nuclear training school there and the Brig housed the terrorist "Dirty Bomber" for a few years. When were you here in Goose Creek?

George Harrison's sister runs a bed and breakfast Beatles museum called Hard Days Nite or something. George stayed here at it back before the Beatles blew up. She has lived here for years for some reason. Town has around 6000 population.

Lived the majority of my life in McLeansboro, Illinois. It is 22 miles away. Hometown of Jerry Sloan and Carl Mauck. Town has about 3000 population.
