Every scouting report/bio says something different. So far i have seen Houston Texas, Katy Texas and Dewinton, Alberta. The reason i ask is because on Calgary sports radio they are talking about tonights Calgary/Buffalo game and the announcer is saying that Tyler Myers is playing his hometown team for the first time tonight. So i was like, "i Never knew Tyler Myers was from Calgary?" started checking up on him and it seems like no one knows where he was born.

I'd go with NHL.com which says his birthplace was Houston, TX. And this is in his bio on NHL.com:

"Moved away from Houston, Texas at the age of 10."

I'd say he's from Houston, but maybe his hometown is Calgary.

Pretty sure he was born in Texas, moved to Canada at age 10.

He played for the American team at the Ivan Hlinka Under-18 tournament when he was 17. Between then, and the IIHF Under-18 tournament he got his Canadian citizenship, and played for Canada. Usually, you can't do this because the IIHF doesn't let guys switch countries, but the Ivan Hlinka tourney isn't an IIHF sanctioned event, he could do this.

Wasn't a popular decision in USA Hockey circles.

This is what I have heard as well. It's quite a confusing situation. But hey, if we get the 6'8" defenseman, i'm ok with it :).
