From the names on the list, Halladay if it's at the first half of the season because he always starts out great then seems to fade or get injured later on in the season. If it were at the end of the season then I would go with Lee since he seems to be in a groove by then.

Waino.

Call me a homer, it's cool. But in big games, he's clutch. May get into a little trouble, but always gets out of it.

I love how people always have to include people who arent an option

Doc Halladay easy
Why? Halladay has never really pitched a great game. I'd rather a guy who proved many times last year that he can pitch a great game. Cliff Lee really stood out last year in the playoffs. I'd have to take him to start game 1 of a playoff series.
lol wut?
Sorry, typo. I meant Halladay has never really pitched in a BIG game, my mistake. I'll fix it now.

Halladay has pitched many great games...its not his fault the rest of his team sucked

Cliff Lee had a great postseason last year, but most of his career he has either been injured or streaky.

It's too risky on whether you'll get the Lee from 2004-2007 which was streaky and inconsistent, or the Cliff Lee from 2009 which was dominating.

Doc has been consistently good throughout his career
I meant he hasn't pitched in any big games. Yeah, but this is if the player is healthy, so you can't use injury. Also, let's not forget how often Halladay would get injured except for the past two years.

Did you all see the world series last year and what Cliff Lee did in that game 1 at New York? If that isn't perfection
I won't know what is. The only thing I remember about Lincy is him throwing beach balls to the AL hitter in the
all star game. Go with someone who has pitched the big game and dominated!

THAT's perfection.

After June 1, CC. Before... probably Lincy.
