Which BRAND of the last 20 yrs (that had a decent length run) would you heavily collect one player (granted he's in most releases) from? Also, WHY that brand? Throw the "money" aspect out.

Griffey/McGwire/Ripken because those are the first3 names I can think of that would be in a majority of releases in the last 20 years. Would probably go with Topps.

Topps with the "complete stats on back". Card backs don't get enough love and Topps is the best.

I actually like the backs of a lot of the cards from the mid to late 90s when effort was put into the design of the backs.

Pacific, hands down. The die cuts and base cards (ie. Crown Royale, Invincible, etc.) they created are simply amazing. Second would be Pinnacle.

Dawson in DLP products.

He was in almost every one, with autos, prime g/u, collectible parallels.

This, except take out Dawson and replace with Biggio.
And like Bear0555, Pinnacle would be my second choice.

I've always been partial to Stadium Club and Ultra. Loved the chase for the 1st day issued and I believe Ultra was the first set to offer 1 insert per pack back in the day....but I may be wrong.

Upper Deck. They just make the best looking cards, imo and thats what is most important to me!

but which player?

Probably Griffey since he was their spokesman for so many years and has a lot of cool UD cards.

It's tough, b/c Yount had a bunch of nice stuff in a bunch of nice releases. If I had to pick one, I guess my default would be DLP, since they made my favorite card (MLB Logoman from Absolute). But my second and third favorites are from UD; and the nicest looking bat barrell was from Topps Sterling and Topps Tribute is what my only Yount Rainbow is from.
