It depends on your definition of better numbers. More HR's, more RBI's, or higher batting average?

McCann - i expect will have the most HR's.
Mauer - I expect will have the highest batting average
Posey - I expect will have the most RBI's if he continues to hit in the 4 hole for the Giants.

Mauer will have more RBI's than Posey if he plays an entire season without getting injured.

so you voted mauer?

Nope - I voted Posey but just wanted a clarification of the question. Posey had pretty good stats for missing 2 months of the season.

Jonathan Lucroy's injury will cause a micro-adjustment in his swing, and it will manifest as power and quickness. So he takes everyone down.

But back in reality, Mauer, easy....

I think Yadi Molina or Jesus Montero will have the best stats this season behind the plate

McCann has been trending downward of late. Especially in average. If we are talking purely batting, the top 3 have to be Mauer, VMart, Posey/McCann.

If I had to pick for fantasy purposes I'd go Mauer easy. Most proven, plus most likely to replicate his previous seasons. If Posey turns in another season like last year, then in 2012 he might have the nod. But for now I'd say the safe bet is Mauer.

I also like the Santana picks. He's being overlooked if he's fully healthy. Although, his team isn't going to help give him any protection.
