In addition to these colors, I also test Silver paint pen last night and have to say it looked pretty sweet.

Allow me to change my opinion to Red.

I just grabbed black, blue and red Lumocolor pens and sacrificed 2002 Refractor...the red looks best. Of course, I do not know the longevity of the red ink.

I like the red and the blue and I'm leaning more to the blue

I voted for black. Whatever color the refractor is, that's the color of pen to use. Good luck finding a decent Orange Sharpie! (I know they make 'em, but only in the fine point, not in the smaller tips, I'd guess.)

Regardless of which color you choose I would have him sign it vertically in the grass area as it would show up so much better. I've got a few cards signed that way and they always look the best. Just a thought
