for me its the spx and its not even remotely close...but thats just me because i hate stuff signed on letter like that because you can barely see the autograph and it just doesnt look good to be honest

SPX, hands down. I'd take a full on card auto any day over an auto that was squeezed onto a letter, especially since there's speculation that they'll bleed out in the future.

EDIT - I realize the auto is on a sticker, I meant the auto with space to be the full auto with the layout of the card, rather than compacted material.

I agree it is nicer to have a full signature and not have it crammed on the letter......but I think I'll be in the minority and say I'd still rather have the chronology card. I like that it's #'d 50 and it is a more unique card.........I'd take that over a generic looking unnumbered insert set sticker auto. I'll also say I'm not a huge graded card collector - so to me that doesn't mean a whole lot.....and if anything it's a negative that it takes a 9.5 grade to simply match the value of the ungraded Chronology card and judging by completed auctions it looks like there are quite a few graded at that level.

I liked the Chronology better for the same reasons stated above. It's a much rarer card and that SPx is the least interesting rookie auto of Durant in my view. I see that one up for sale all the time, and it should grade well.

SPx.

I have a hard time looking at any signed letter card and not thinking it's incomplete without the rest of the cards to spell the entire name.

i could care less about the grade to, but for me if im going to buy an autographed card than i want a card with his actual autograph, not a scribble with a silver pen because theres no way to sign a signature

Like I said I agree with that.....just not a fan of the super scripts....so that being the case. I create option C. Sell the Chronology - and pick up a Hot Prospects or Ultimate RC auto. Those are "true rc's" that you can get around the same price or $20 more. Or if you really want the SPX - just buy it ungraded.....good chance you may get a 9 or 9.5 anyway and then you'd still have money to buy another lower-end auto like SP RE.
