I went with Davis not because I feel he is the best player, but more because his situation is better than the others. Pitching is hard to predict, and of the hitters he has a great stadium. Plus a solid spot on a team that's not going to get worried about seriously competing this year if things don't start really well for him. So he'll get a longer leash.

With that being said, I would have to agree.

I have a feeling the Reds might make a run at the palyoffs this season. I am not sure why, but i think they have some nice bats and arms and with a little luck could surprise

As much as would love to agree, I have to say Bruce is going to have a monster year.

Kershaw might be a year or two away from his monster year

I'm going with Kershaw...lefty starter that could put the Dodgers over the top.

But as far as being impactful....I see the Dodgers in the playoffs and I believe the Reds will once again be in the NL Central gutter.

I think Pablo and Chris Davis as they will get the all bats they can handle. Pablo is a dark horse as his expectations are no where near Bruce or Price. Less pressure.

Kind of interesting that Price has the least amount of playing time and is leading in votes... I like him, but he hasn't really been a starter yet. I do think he will be what everyone THOUGHT Joba Chamberlain was going to be though...

Joba in the minors aged 21 went 9-2 in 88 innings with a 2.45 ERA
Joba at age 21 pitched 24 innings with a 0.38 ERA
Joba at age 22 pitched 100 innings with a 2.60 ERA

Price in the minors aged 22 went 12-1 in 109 innings with a 2.30 ERA
Price at age 22 pitched 14 innings with a 1.93 ERA

Don't get why people think Joba is a bust while everyone thinks Price will be the next Koufax. They seem pretty even to me.

Bruce and Kershaw due to talent, opportunity, and the ballparks that they play in..
