I know I'm a rays fan but the rays have 7 pitchers that can pitch, in the A.L. east of all divisions. The Rays have massive depth counting all seven of the curent starters
1.) James Shields
2.) David Price
3.) Jeremy Hellickson
4.) Matt Moore
5.) Jeff Niemann
6.) Wade Davis
7.) Alex Cobb
and alex torra and jake mcgee who are bullpen guys, but in the minors though they where proven starters. Another thing, throw the Phillies rotation in the american league so instead of facing a pitcher at the plate throw in a D.H. instead. I know that the Halladay and Lee both won Cy Youngs in the american league but I would like to see them do it again, since Cliff Lee is turning 34 and Roy Halladay is turning 35. That brings up the point that the oldest pitcher in the Rays rotation is James Shields and he's going into his age 30 season. Overall the Rays are way younger and also have way more upside than the Phillies. I know that the Phillies beat the rays in 2008 but if i had to put money on that, in a 7 game series, I would say the Rays would beat the Phillies.

Halladay, generally considered the best all around Pitcher in baseball
Lee, who has dominated AL teams in Post-Season at historic rates
Hamels, who won LCS and WS MVP, ironically against the Rays.
And, quite frankly, if you want to add youth in, especially for one season, ANY GM in baseball would take the more experienced, proven Pitcher EVERY TIME. The risk of injury is actually higher with Pitchers with less than three Years...
