Rockets win the series in 6.

The VAN/SPO game was really good, but VAN won on a 2 on 1 breakaway in double Overtime. Should have been called for an interference penalty TWICE on the play, one on the D-man and one on the goalie; but alas, the refs held their whistles and the goal counted. Tokarski flipped his lid, as did the d-man (i think it was Jared Spurgeon) and Hardy Sauter basically yelled so hard he barfed his small intestine.

Game 7 in Vancouver. It will be a great game. I hope to be there on Tuesday with my son. I think whoever wins this series will beat Kelowna and play Calgary.

Just so you know jarcar, evander is a jerk- he's arrogant, cocky, self-righteous and an idiot.

But he is a damn good hockey player.

Im surprised he didnt get a technical called on him for all the back talking he did the whole game.

I totally agree about Evander, I was at a game earlier this year, near the end of the game the giants were shooting on an empty net, another player took a shot at the open net and it was going in with no defender around except Evander and instead of letting his teammate get credit for the goal he gave it a tap to get the goal. To me that is crap and not a good team mate. Like you said he can score and is a great player but not the attitude you want as a team mate.

Bouma is our Letts. I like the guy, he kinda sucks at hockey, but he had yet to be knocked down on nay check this year and has won EVERY fight (including one we're not so proud about against Tri-City Net-Minder Chet Pickard :| ) Like you, im ok with him being a jerk because it's what he is supposed to do, but naturally I can hat bouma if I want to

Im gonna hate him more because we are going to win 3-1 and the reason he'll be a factor is because he will commit the 2:00 minor that results in our 3-1 insurance goal lead =]

I never answered you about the autographs. If you go to you customer service desk before the game and ask they will tell you. But at the chiefs, after the game you go down this flight of stairs to ice level where the Chiefs Office is and there is a door the exits the locker room into a big foyer plaza area and the players that wanna come out and sign will come out. For us, Drayson Bowman has not come out ALL YEAR, but our other top guys, Tokarski, Wahl, Johnson, Roman come out a lot

I totally agree about Evander, I was at a game earlier this year, near the end of the game the giants were shooting on an empty net, another player took a shot at the open net and it was going in with no defender around except Evander and instead of letting his teammate get credit for the goal he gave it a tap to get the goal. To me that is crap and not a good team mate. Like you said he can score and is a great player but not the attitude you want as a team mate.

It looks like I'm going on Tuesday, can't wait will be awesome.

He does 4-5 of those types of thing every game. He cherry picks around the net, and often a VAN player will have a solid shot into the top corner, often having a solid chance of going into the net, and evander will slash it down, often right into the goalie. He takes away good teammates' shots. Now sometimes he does score with it, and you are supposed to redirect a wayward shot, but 80% of the time he tries to deflect really solid shots. Im surprised Pierro-Zabotel (who is also a grade-A dbag....so is Bouma, they are all good players but HORRIBLE attitudes...the chiefs only have one guy like that, Ryan Letts) had so many points this season with Kane stealing stuff all the time. He reminds me of Sean Avery. Solid, great player, but a ******* and a half.

Hey Jar, if you could do me a favor though it would be great and I would fully reimburse you for it. Could you buy me a Vancouver Giants Logo Puck and after the game see if you can get Kane or Sexsmith to sign it? I've had a hard time getting opposing players to sign here in spokane.

I don't know much about Pierro-Zabotel but I love Bouma, he is a tuff SOB with a mean streak. I'm OK with him being a jerk, it's his job. His team mates love him too. But Kane just rubs me the wrong way.

With regards to the puck, I've never got signatures before. It would be cool to do that, I know my son would love it. Any idea of where the best place to do it is? I never answered you about the autographs. If you go to you customer service desk before the game and ask they will tell you. But at the chiefs, after the game you go down this flight of stairs to ice level where the Chiefs Office is and there is a door the exits the locker room into a big foyer plaza area and the players that wanna come out and sign will come out. What a great game. What a goal, perfect deflection into the top corner after he went around the entire team and their mascot. OK it was one of those fluke goals that seem to often win a series.

The night started off great, My son and I were waiting in line to get tickets and this guy walks up to me and says he has 2 extra tickets and he gave them to me. Cool, free tickets to game 7. They were not fantastic, they were lower bowl behind the net, 8 rows up. We were right near where the `fight` was.

Any way very happy with win! Bring on Kelowna.

Sorry about not getting a Kane auto. I`m sure he will be back next year after an NHL training camp so if he is remind me to get an auto for you.

Our 20 year olds arent our best players, I rank my top 10 as follows (and mine are different than most out there)

With regards to the pucks one was for my son and the other, I have no problem keeping until I get it signed, it may not be until next year. Or if you would rather not do that, no problem, I can keep the puck if you rather not have a Giants puck. It was only $5 so no biggie. Just let me know what you would prefer, it does not matter at all either way with me, I`m happy keeping it and I have no problem getting it to you.
