To each his own... Doesn't really matter in the long run because the card has to be made first. Also, some ppl just don't want somebody to "mooch" off of their time they put in trying to find their next "guy." Personally, I don't really care, I will buy what I want and I will inevitably do my own research. Just because somebody else says something doesn't mean they have looked at all of the peripherals and actually have a clue what they are talking about.

Do all of the other prospectors really think THEY are the ONLY guys collecting their players? Oh yeah I was the only one that knew Starlin Castro was going to be great, the only one in Wisconsin that is.

I too have heard it could be nixed...but at this point its only a rumor/rumblings. I think Topps is sick of putting out this product and having it flop the past 2 years. With them having 3 prospect sets vs. 2 a year post 2006 rookie card rule change it has really effected the quality of the checklists from top to bottom in every product except draft, with draft having to get by some huge issues in 2008 with Razor fouling stuff up.

I think they could make Bowman Chrome an easy winner this year, but will they put the same care into it that they did with regualr Bowman? Who knows.

All they have to do, get 11 great prospect autos, 11 average prospect autos, put about 10 good guys in the prospect set vs. 2 or 3 the past few years and watch the money roll in. No offense to the A&G rippers but the next real Topps product that comes out after series 2 is months and months away. I don't see why it financially makes success to not make this product in lieu of a tribute or a tripel threads.

I think they should go back and make a what could have been Bowman Chrome as part of the regular set, but include the Major Stars with On Card Autos.

Can you imagine these ON CARD Bowman Chrome Autos with Rainbow Possiblities.
