Home sick so I hope this might spark some discussion. Who do you think will be in the running for 2010 ROY?

No vote for Jennings in the AL?

Nope. MVP for him. 8-)

In all seriousness, I think Friedman will be too stupid to call him up until it's too late in the season.

I don't really have a good reason (other than bias) to say that he'll win, but I like the idea. :)

How late does he have to stay down to delay arbitration a year? With Longoria he was only down the first month or so, wasn't he?

It might also depend on the off-season transactions in Tampa.

Todd Frazier will have a miraculous ST and make the Reds roster. He will then trick Dusty into beleiving he is 30 years old and will accumulate 500 ABs, hitting .280 with 40 doubles, narrowly winning ROY.

Neftali or Borbon for the AL barring neither of them pass the the current standard of 130 at bats, 50 innings pitched or 45 days on the active roster.

Surprisingly no vote for Stras, eh?

I really think Wallace takes it in the AL next year and, partially a homer pick, if Jason Castro starts behind the plate for the Astros, I can see him making a run in the NL.

I don't think Heyward sniffs it......next year.

But 2011 is all his ;)
