Curious to hear the argument for Kerahaw as MVP.

I won't make that argument, but there is absolutely no doubt he is the best pitcher in all of baseball, let alone the N.L., so far in the first half. Other than wins and strikeouts, he is leading all of baseball in nearly every meaningful statistical pitching category there is.

Best player in the league.

Starters might only throw 1/5 days but they have more than 5X the impact on the games that they pitch in compared to position players. If you compare batters faced for pitchers vs at bats for hitters, their contribution is comparable.

AL CY: Right now tie for me between Scherzer and King Felix. Hard to pick one.

Most Surprising: Chris Davis - If anyone tells you they thought he would have 37 HR before the AS break, they are lying.
Most Disappointed: Pujols/Hamilton

NL MVP: Really close but I guess Paul Goldschmidt. I really think this will be McCutchen's award by year's end.
