The two guys I forgot to put up: Lou Marson (solid all-around), and Austin Romine (like Marson, no stand out tools, but decent).

Here is how my break down looks:

1.) Buster Posey (All-around great catching prospect.)
2.) Jesus Montero (Only below Posey due to concerns about his future at the catching position...Best bat in the minors.)
3.) Jason Castro (This ranking will surprise a lot of you, but I think Castro will turn into Posey-lite as time goes by; he has all the tools, and I think he will be a special guy....look for him to do well in AA next year)
4.) Carlos Santana (Love this guys power from both sides of the plate, and his ability to draw walks...I put him behind Castro because I am not convinced he will be anything other than an average defensive catcher in the bigs.)
5.) Derek Norris (The sky is the limit for this guy, but he needs to improve on his consistency...His bat has been really streaky; he also strikes out a ton)
6.) Josh Thole (Lack of power production this year worries me a bit, but everything else is major league ready.)
7.) J.P. Arencibia (I am convinced that J.P. will be an above average MLB backstop despite his rough year in AAA this year.)
8.) Tyler Flowers (Needs to work on the Ks, but I put him up there with Arencibia....His power is impressive to say the least.)
9.) Austin Romine (Will be fine defensively, but his bat is kind of a question mark at this point....Still young.)
10.) Lou Marson (Loss of power from last year is a concern, but still should be a competent backstop in the majors before too long.)

I didn't vote for Jesus Montero because I don't think he will be a catcher in the majors. If I could vote again, I would not vote for Flowers for the same reason. But Montero and Flowers have the best bats out of the bunch.

I went with Posey, Santana, and Castro. I am of the belief that Montero won't stick at catcher, or won't be good at the position and you didn't ask who were the best hitters that play the position.

I voted Santana, Posey, and Montero...

but why was Angel Salome AKA: "Mighty Mouse" left off the list. He's better than some on here? Because he doesn't project as a catcher?

No...because they hate short people like BA.

Easily:
1. Buster posey
2. Montero
3. insert here

those two are just so dominant.

Posey has performed well at the AAA level after a slower start and is way way stronger defensively over montero (why i think he is a better overall CATCHER)

How did you know about my ultra secret bias against short people :?:

All kidding aside, I would have Salome somewhere around the 6th spot..He has been unspectacular this year in AAA, and I'm wondering why the Brewers have been hesitating bringing him up.

1.) Carlos Santana - has had a very good season and is probably ready to graduate to the Major Leagues, just before Posey.
2.) Buster Posey - struggled somewhat in AAA but looks like he has heated up lately.
3.) Jason Castro - may not be a spectacular prospect, but maybe a guy who can surprise some people and play in the Major Leagues a lot in 2010.
