The Rays have an amazing staff but there offense is not nearly as good.shepsspot said:Hate to say this but the Rays.
Yup, that's the reality of baseball. A healthy Tiger team could win 2/3 of their games in the regular season and still lose a Playoff series to a team that is far inferior.wolfmanalfredo said:Any team that plays better in the given series
Tigers aren't my team but they are definitely strong.Pine Tar said:Yesssssss.! 5 games into the new season and people are thinking there team is strong. Come on it is the beginning of the Marathon you can call the MLB season.

If Fister is healthy and Porcello pitches like he did today, I'm not so sure the rotations are THAT far apart, although at least early on paper the edge has to go to LAA.
As for the offense, I don't think there's any way I consider it a push. Looking at both lineups, the Tigers have six guys who very well could hit 20 homers this year. I don't think there's any way the Angels end up with more than four such players. Time will tell, but I'd be willing to bet the Tigers will outscore the Angels this year by at least 100 runs.

Six is a stretch IMO. You'll be lucky to have three. If you are banking on Boesch, Avila, Jackson, Rayburn, or Peralta, I don't see two of those 5 hitting 20 HR. Wouldn't surprise me if any of them got there.
