Hi, I'm Randy Shields and I approve/hope of this message! 8-)

My guess is, for what it's worth, that he gets the call to get the feel of the Bigs. If he does well he stays. If he does poorly he then goes to AAA and then possibly a September call. JMT's.

For both Stanton's and the Marlins' sake, I hope they take it slow with him. He strikes me as the type that could really struggle in his initial cup of coffee. Like 40% K rate struggle. That's certainly not to say that I don't think he'll be a hell of a major leaguer (I do), but I firmly believe they should tread carefully here.
