I think its the Nationals or the Brewers. I honestly believe the Brewers still have money to spend they just are coming out and saying it. Attanasio has deep pockets.

I agree, I think 10 days from now at Brewers Fan Fest it will be announced. That would be really cool. Plus K-Rod just signed with us at 8million which is a steal, maybe Boras knows the other benefits from staying with Brewers will make his client more than going somewhere else.

He knows the Brewers will be a winning team and I don't think there is an ego issue with him and Braun. From what Ive heard and read they appreciate each others talent and feed off each other. Fan Fest would be a prime time to do it. If Prince resigns they sell a million more tickets that week.

Other. IDK who, but Baltimore would be the likliest. Washington makes sense, and Milwaukee has become more of an option as time has drug on.

If the Brewers don't resign him, it'll be scary watching Ramirez try to carry them for the first 50 games.

That would be nice, but i don't think our bankroll is still there since we signed all those amazing top notch arms recently...

I don't hold any hope for Milwaukee to bring him back on a short term deal. We've simply shelled out too much in new signings and arbitration raises (or avoidance-of-arbitration signings).

If time dragged on so far that a long-term deal was out of the question for Fielder he'd have to wait for the market to "reboot" next year. I could see the Brewers at this point making him another offer for a year, but I could also see Texas or Washington out bidding that one-year offer as well.

I honestly never seen the Brewers as a real option for him.

I don't see STL as a real option either, but a 3 year contract and a few trades could really make the team good. And this from someone who isn't a Prince fan. Do love the Revolution though.

I'm with you Jeremy. Ilitch isn't getting any younger. He wants to win a World Series and the Tigers won't win one with the current roster. Sign Fielder now and figure out what to do with the lineup when Martinez returns.

New York.

He is going to sing a one year, $20m contract and will mash 50+ HR and get a bigger contract after next season than he would this year.

Do you think his physical makeup is preventing teams from offering a long term contract?

BTW, I love PF because he's a large vegetarian like me!! :D
