I think this is a case where someone was looking for something to be offended about though...heart on sleeve type of deal. You all kiss and make up... I'll watch.

Yep, you're exactly right. I wanted to be offended, so I told him he looked strong and asked him how much he could lift. :x What in the frack makes you think that? :?:

Apparently a few smartasses like to twist the context of my words so they can have a good ole chuckle. Well, good for you guys. I'm happy for you that cracking gay jokes makes you guys feel like bigger people.
Umm.... hello. You are surely touchy about this. The point is, the guy was kidding with you. I understood that you were asking the dude for advice...and I'm sure the person who made the comment understood that as well. I believe he was teasing you and he was shocked at your reaction...or overreaction I should say, just like this reaction. It's not like he said you were asking for makeup tips or advice on the perfect pair of ******* to get into a twist. ;) :D

Can I ask you something?

Do you work out?

You look like it. What do you squat?

About two.

Super, super.

What about you? What do you squat?

(Whispers)
- Wow.

- It's no B.S.
- That's a lot.

- Where do you work out?
- In Torrance, where I live.

Cool.

Do you ever go to Vince's out here?

No, I would have seen you. I'm there every day.

I've always wanted to work out at Vince's.

Cool. Here. Taste that.

- Rock and roll.
- All right?

Did you ever see that movie Star Wars?

About four times.

People tell me I look like Han Solo.

Really?

What do you bench?

You tell first.

I asked you first.

Same time.

Cool.

Are you ready?

Ready.

One... two... three...

- You didn't say anything.
- Neither did you.

GREAT

FREAKIN'

MOVIE!!!

This is me at the NSGA (National Sporting Goods Assoc.) trade show in Chicago in 1995.

(I'm not the guy in the hat)
and this is me last year:
The name is Bryan Greener. I am a TV News video editor in the Tampa area. I collect 05 Absolute Memorabilia jumbos and HOFers.
Bryan - what were you doing at the NSGA show? My company exhibited there for many years and I know it's not open to the general public.
My dad was purchasing pins from Peter David at the time. His sales rep. invited us out to the show. He started going in in 1993 and I finally realized that I should go along with him in 1995. I also went in 1996. Absolutely amazing! What is the name of your company and what kind of products do you offer? Maybe I'll remember you :)

You're right - that show is/was quite a spectacle. We're a small company and kind of got lost in the shuffle as the show grew over the years. This is us - http://www.carronnet.com - we make nets. Given the sports-minded nature of this board, chances are probably pretty good that just about everyone here has used one of our products at some time or another. ;)

Actually thats one of the few pics I can find of my wife where she isn't grinning ear to ear.She has a few more where she isn't smiling but they are normally far and few in between.

As for me...I hardly ever smile.I have to hear or see something funny to be able to smile.Otherwise I try to fake a smile and it comes out weird and goofy looking.I was going through my mom's stack of pictures she had when me and my wife were getting ready for our wedding. We figured it would be cool to find pictures of ourselves growing up all the way until the present. She had a bunch of cool pictures with her smiling while I noticed that after I turned about 9 just about every dang picture my mom had of me I was not smiling. My wife even said something about it.I guess I just never smiled on camera anymore.I do smile however.Just not on command.

I'm Ryan Lundy, this is me after a dear friend told me that he tried that thing where you pop corn with your cell phone... he said he tried it and it worked.

StevoEgg1.jpg

THEN... not but a few days later, CC got traded so I had to update the sig....

BrewerBirds.jpg

In case anybody is wondering what's going on in the Indians bird pic... I was home alone, and set my camera on the shelf and tried to get the pic. I couldn't get my bird to behave for the 10 seconds I was waiting for the camera to shoot... I have 2 of them, and they hate to be separated, so the one had flown right onto my neck right as the pick was going off. It was the best out of like 10 tries! it was a good time though. For the Brewers Birds pic I had an actual camera person...

Well, I went back to my Indians lid, so the first will suffice. :geek: I can't become a Yankee fan or wear or a Yankee hat. I do hope they win every 5 days or so though.

So CC could go 0-0 and you would be happy as long as the Yankees win? ;)
