Most are looking for the gimmick in my approach. Really I don't see a gimmick in hard work and dieting. I cut so much food out of my diet for starters. It was more of a complete lifestyle change than any diet/exercise plan. I started at 240 pounds, mostly fat, in January. By May I was under 190, and I have kept the weight off since then. I'm actually trying to put on muscle, which I find difficult without any training. Slowly but surely I am looking better. In a year or two I will have reversed about 12 years of neglect. Kudos Chris!! Good for you. Dieting and losing weight is not easy, but keeping it off is even more difficult to me. I can lose weight when I put my mind ot it, but then a dang holiday will hit and there goes the diet!

Thanks to blanning, Indy Mann and MattinglyAlexander for their kind remarks and aspirations. If you could see my pile of bills, you'd know I should have nothing to do with fixing the economy! (or anything else!) And Pine Tar, if only I could explain to my kids that I am now now "Gothic" then I would be a cool parent, indeed.
