I like Ortiz but would rather see the Big Hurt get playing time.

[quote="BunchOBull":1eqft12k]I think they should bench Ortiz and pick up the Big Hurt for $500k.

they should sign bonds. :)

He thinks Boston is a racist city.

Boston is a racist city. Probably not as much any more but they have a pretty bad history of being racist.

Why the face palm. Boston has historically been one of the most racist cities in America specifically with sports and athletes. Would you like come examples?

As a Rays fan, I gotta say Kazmir. I really hope the organization makes up an injury soon so he cam go on the DL, and rehab in the minors.

To give you some hope, he is pitching against my A's this week. I don't think even Kazmir can lose to them.

Ortiz is the biggest disappointment.

Here are some other sucky starts:

Brian Giles: .168 avg. (lowest in the majors), 2 homers.

Adrian Beltre: .205 avg., 2 homers (what a waste of money by Seattle)

Grady Sizemore: .215 avg., 6 steals

Jason Giambi: .193 avg., 3 homers

Garrett Atkins: .192 avg., 3 homers

And Jordan Schafer, who some prospectors went crazy over because of the homer in his first at bat: .216 avg., 2 homers, 6 rbi

Little Papi.

ALL the TB pitchers will probably come back, probably this year.

Hmm I was two days behind. I thought he was pitching the day after I posted this.

Since he lost to my A's, I rest my case. Kazmir wins.

Ortiz has gone the way of most other fat power hitters after a few good years.

Considering he won ROY, Soto has been pretty terrible this year. He might have it figured out, but that's still a baaaad sophomore slump.
