I was just going over something that brought up a memory as I was watching the game here in AZ. In one game w/ 2 outs based loaded bottom of the 9th with Diamondbacks up 2 Brenley intentionally walked Bonds. Think about that, it's crazy, and I bet only happened a handful if times ever.

It's happened 6 times, most recently to Josh Hamilton in 2008. Bonds in 1998 was the previous one, and before that it was in 1944. WOW, in all 6 cases the pitching team won the game.

Thanks for digging it up. So a handful plus one I don't remember the Hamilton one. And yeah I'm surprised the pitching team won them all.
