Brad Penny is another good one. I could start my own card shop with just Penny's and a pile of Schmidt's and be out of business by Friday.

I briefly collected Brad Penny after the Red Sox signed him. I actually had a really good collection going, until the Sox dropped him for being terrible. After the Sox dumped him for being terrible, I gave up collecting him. The shop I sold my Penny GUs to still has them all, wasting away in their 3/$10 box.

Here's another Sheets collector (assuming neither of you are this seller) listing ~45 plates of his:

Ben Sheets. Once everyone knew he was leaving the Brewers and then couldn't stop getting injured, his stuff flatlined.

Bill Hall falls into that category too.

I collect Ben Sheets, but I'm not really sure why I do. When I started collecting again, I got several of his cards in a lot I bought, so I decided, for some reason, that he'd be one of my PC players. No real reason. I have well over 200 Sheets cards, several GU, and a nice Absolutely Ink auto.

The late 90's/early 2000s are loaded with players I don't know if anyone collects. Reggie Sanders, Raul Mondesi, Rondell White, Alex Gonzalez...the list of mediocrity goes on. Any AJ Pierzynski collectors? Ben Broussard?

Talk about flooding the market.

Johan Santana. Except for his rookies, even at the peak of his powers and going to the Mets, I was unable to find anyone interested in any of his stuff. I think the last time I put his stuff on ebay, some low-#d inserts and parallels, they ended with 1 watcher out of 5 cards. And no bids, of course.

That guy constantly pops up with a TON of Brewers stuff that he's bought over the years. He actaully makes my point, since I don't think he ever sells anything, since, again, no one really collects Sheets :)

This is like family feud.

I'll go with Brian Roberts for the steal.

Definitely not Brian Roberts... my brother collected him for quite a long time and ended up selling his really rare stuff to another Roberts collector for $1,200 (he had a ton of 1/1s, autos, low #s, plates, etc.)

Bobby Abreu - I'm the only guy who has ever collected him and he's got some really good numbers. I have sooo much of his stuff, I'd love to find an Abreu collector.

Oh yeah, since I officially stopped collecting him (and I was the only one) Hernan Iribarren can be added to the list.

Milton Bradley

When I pulled that Abe Lincoln variation of his last year, I couldn't move that thing for the life of me. It took 4 ebay listings before it sold. Even tried trading it.

I'm pretty sure I am the only Ron Darling collector out there.
