+1 of course numberonemetfan must have thought the same thing. Either the artist just decided he wanted to picture Beltran in the KC uni, or the artist drew someone else, in which case he/she was way off of anyone that I can think of

If I was him, I surely wouldnt be happy getting an email asking who I drew thats for sure.
But with that being said, what does it say about the artwork when no one knows who the player is eventhough the answer can only come from a pool of about five players?
Watch it be Wally Joyner

I pulled a gold ref of him out of my xmas packs. :lol:011873 said:chashawk said:This is at least the 10th or so thread like this. Why didn't Topps indicate on the cards who the player was?
Because that would make perfect sense and Topps isnt in THAT business.
Kind of like printing the "Topps autograph" logo nearly invisible on BC autos and not having that 3M sticker on the back.
Or like printing "Refractor" on SOME BC Refractor cards.
Or like printing "refractor" on cards which are not base Refractors.
Or having Ruth in a 2010 Braves uniform with eye black, wrist bands and batting gloves.
Or this pathetic excuse for a card. A 36 year old RETIRED Cuban in a product loaded and known for 18-21 year old draft picks. A product which is largely broken by prospectors. This ORANGE sold for $1.81......ORANGE I SAID.
