I'm hoping it's Daniel Hudson. He won't have the K rate but he will do well.

My dark horse pick for the Cy Young is Bumgarner. I think it's gonna be tough to do what Verlander did last year. Halladay is always smooth but he won't do it with strikeouts, maybe in a longshot Weaver?

I'm hoping Josh Johnson is all the way back from surgery.. Brandon Morrow darkhorse as well. these 2 guys alone will make or break my fantasy pitching staff this year.

Greinke. He's been downright filthy this spring. He was the second-half Cy Young in 2011. Gallardo has an excellent shot at this as well as they've had him concentrating on how to limit his pitch count and work deeper into games. This is sometimes a sign of a pitcher ready to take the next step into elite-hood.

Bank it.

Quietly one of the top 5 or 10 pitchers in the league IMO. Playing for Oakland will do that.

I'm hoping, obviously, for Josh Johnson, but I think Cahill becomes the man this year in Arizona.

the only person who will have the same year as Verlander is Verlander the guy is going to win 25 games this years

aside from him I could see Doug Fister putting up solid numbers this year playing for the tigers the whole year will help him as far as his wins goes

My guess, in order of likelihood:

1) Josh Johnson
2) Tommy Hanson
3) Gio Gonzalez

I liked other peoples guesses of Bumgarner, Greinke, and Cahill

I don't know about CY for him, but I think Beachy is a guy who could outperform expectations. At least in a fantasy type of way.

I know generally the same pitcher doesn't win back to back CYs, but Verlander is set up better than most pitchers to win it again. The voters love wins, and he should be the leader in that.
