The AL ROY is allready sewn up so discussion on that is obviously pointless. However, the NL ROY is still up for grabs even though I believe there would be a clear winner if the season ended today.

For me, it's Todd Frazier, with Wilin Rosario coming in second. Whose your ROY?

Harper has been hot and it's only going to take another HR or 2 for him to LOCK IT UP!

Regardless of the fact that Frazier has better numbers in SOME areas than Harper (along with a few other rookies), I think that what Harper is doing is more remarkable because he is only 19. I think voters should take into account Harper's age as compared to the best all-time at that age. That and his team has the best record in baseball. Frazier is just another in a long line of mid-20s rookies to play well, whereas Harper could end up being one of the premiere players in the game. Give it to Harper.

Some areas? Frazier has Harper beat in every single batting statistic (not to mention a substantial 75 point lead in OPS) aside form having one more triple and home run then Frazier so I'm not sure where this "some" is coming from. I'll give you the fact that he's 19, but the ROY goes to the rookie who has had the best season, and at this point it is not Harper.

Every single STATISTIC is what maters, not just "batting statistics". You wanna go over what Harper has done better this season?

Harper is besting Frazier in all of these statistical categories as of right now;

WAR
Runs Created
Hits
Homeruns
Runs
Stolen Bases
Triples
Walks
Walk %
Strikeout Percentage
Walk To Strikeout Ratio
Fielding Percentage
Grounded Into Double Plays
Speed Number

So yes, SOME.

As much as I agree with you that those things SHOULD be taken into account, age and team performance are NOT a part of the ROY voting process. I was pulling for 20-year-old Rick Porcello back in 2009 but he came in 3rd in ROY voting despite pretty impressive numbers for a rookie, especially for his age. I firmly believe that if age was taken into consideration he would have won it.

Same applies to Frazier vs Harper, Harper is obviously having the more impressive season due to the fact that he's doing his thing at age 19, but the bottom line is that it's going to be who had the best season statistically. That being said, I think Harper will end up winning it anyway.

Frazier, although he's somewhat cooled off since the end of August.

I think it's close between Miley and Harper. I'd have to take Harper over Frazier as he plays a tougher position.

Why? I don't mean to be rude, but back up your opinion instead of just writing, "Miley."

If you look at their WARs:
Miley 4.3
Harper 4.0
Frazier 2.8
Rosario 1.8

I know WAR isn't the end all, but the case can definitely be made for Miley.
