Avila is raking in the Majors and will soon be the number one catcher so I picked him.

I am pulling for Alex (Roll Tide)

however the numbers are across a very small sample size.

Yeah just have to wait to see if he can keep it up. I would be glad if he could over take Laird for the starting job.

I voted Turner ... but I think Andy Oliver is going to surprise a lot of people and be in this conversation 1 year from now ...

Fields in a major favorite for me, but it has to be Turner here - he got a little overshadowed by Purke and Matzek, but in a normal year he would have been the top prep pitcher hands down.

I like what the Tigers have done with their system in recent years. It's never a stacked system, but they always seem to have 1 top level guy. Basically since Granderson every top ranked prospect in their system has turned out to be worth their #1 spot. The one guy not living up to it yet is Maybin, but they got Cabrera for him, so you can't complain there either.

Everyone likes Strieby here probably because of the power, but I don't think he's realistically even in the top 3. Pure logic and reasoning tells me Turner is the #1 right now, but if I was picking with my gut, I think Fields is going to be a big player for them.

Side note: in this day and age of a 1,000 rookies made of one guy, Avila has yet to have a single card made anywhere. That's pretty nuts.
