AND WHY ARE THE SEAHAWKS MAKING THESE TERRIBLE MOVES?
Man I'm getting so disgusted with this! I've never heard of this guy but according to me Q13 Fox alert updates we just signed WR Sean Morey. I hope he's worth a crap since I feel we made a TERRIBLE move in getting rid of Nate Burleson.

So far this off season:
LOSS:
Corey Redding
Nate Burleson
Seneca Wallace
Darryl Tapp
Deon Grant (released)
Matt Overton (released)

GAIN:
Charlie Whitehurst- Swap 2nd rnd picks, trade 3rd rndr in 2011
Matt McCoy (Linebacker)
Chris Clemons + Draft pick from Eagles (for Tapp)

I still feel Hasselbeck has a year or two left if they would give him some line protection (which he has none of) and also they have a beast in John Carlson if they wouldn't make him block and let him go (I still think he could be the next Tony Gonzalez).
They got rid of Wallace (GREAT QB) and never let Mike Teel have a down last year and picked up Whitehurst, who is as good as Trent Dilfer, Dan McGwire, Brock Huard, Jon Kitna, and the other slew of CRAP QB's we had in the late 90's, early 2000's. MAN, I think Carroll and the front office is leading us down to become the new joke of the NFC West (and you can't say we are now, sorry, Rams still hold that title!)

Just curious as to his stats (I knew who he was), I looked him up on wikipedia. He's referred to there as a "standout special teamer".

So standout in fact that he's been with 5 teams now.

(laughing) No, I didn't bother looking up his stats or who he was and I didn't hear his name at all that I can recall during the Super Bowl.
And to go through 5 different teams? OH MAN! Downhill is all I'm thinking. ::facepalm:: ::facepalm:: Such a disgrace! Thanks for clarifying who this joker is though!

Morey is a great Special Teamer, especially with the Steelers. When my former company had a signing with him, he drew very well. He's one of those guys the fans love too, with his kamikaze style and his knack for being near the ball. I don't know how much he has left in the tank.

But don't think I'm defend Carroll because Matt McCoy, the new LB, flat-out SUCKS!!

WONDERFUL! Another guy who I hadn't heard of, and now that I do, you tell me he's another idiot! SO, old-timer in Sean Morey, McCoy is an idiot, Whitehurst has never thrown an NFL pass and Clemons is the same position as Tapp (still don't understand that trade)..... really, where are the SeaChickens going with these trades????

If it makes you feel better, Whitehurst is VERY highly thought of around the league and would have gotten a shot to start in a lot of places next year, just Seattle beat some other teams to the punch and then offered him the extension, which sealed it.

And they still play in a pretty lousy division...

Wow, do you really think every signing has to be a superstar? Morey is a top notch special teamer and was special teams captain on both the Steelers and Cardinals, if I recall correctly. It's a solid signing that good and smart teams make. But, by all means, complain about him because he won't be a 100 catch WR.

Wow, those all look like really good cap moves -- wasn't Burleson making some ungodly sum? I'd be pretty happy if I were a Seahawks fan.
