That's a very conservative estimate. Peter Gammons predicts that he'll hit 1.243.

Thanks for creating a thread that points out how well a player is perfomring this early, espcecially one that doesn't include a "prospect". Renteria was injured all of the last two seasons, it would be nice to see him live up to his contract this season.
