Alright.....who wants to see a baseball game????? Sure, there is still snow on the ground and we have a few more months on winter but what is a better way to beat those winter blues but to plan on going to a baseball game in the spring?
Last year my wife and I got a group of friends, family and acquaintances together and went to an early season baseball game that pitted the Pirates against the Brewers. The Brewers pretty much got their tail kicked but it was a great time and it was a good way to start off the baseball season. So we decided to try and do the same thing again this year but to expand it to the FCB family as well.
The dates we are looking at is either April 5,6 or 8th with the first two games being against the Giants and the last game being against the Astros. April 4th is opening day and there is always a big let down in terms of fan attendance in the days right after opening day so the Brewers are offering some great deals. I am leaning towards going to the game on the 6th because it is a day game which would allow more of us to go and be home in time to get ready for work the next day. You can start planning for the day off from work now because you have three months to make sure you get the day off. The tickets will be only 12 bucks each and I need to have twenty people commit to get the great rate. The seats will be in section 239 which is outfield seats on the fair side of the foul pole. Everyone who went last year thought the seats were great. To be honest, once you are in the park there will be plenty of seats for you to sneak down to and nobody will bother you.
So what do you say? Who wants to go to a ball game? We have to decide before January 30. Please let me know if there is any interest. Last year we had a great time and this year should be more of the same.
And as a reminder....there is a roof on Miller Park so you dont have to worry about the cold, rain, snow or any other weather early April can bring.
