Saw an interesting question posted in a prospect chat today - who will be better: Puig or Soler?
JD Sussman of fangraphs went with Soler. Puig is obviously older and more advanced, is currently experiencing more success at the milb level, and looks like giant Bo Jackson. Soler has made as much waves for wielding his bat as a weapon as he has using it in the batter's box. He's taller and leaner, but in a couple years that could change. Plus, he has the much cooler name. Both are strong-armed RFs with superb athletic ability, impressive bat speed, and project for plus hit and power tools at MLB level.
I don't know a whole lot more than that on either, but Cuba keeps churning out these super athletes that are going to be fun to watch.
So who ya got? And will they be better than Cespedes?
