Sorry, I should have clarified - you can pick only one.

In my dream world:

Domonic Brown because the Phillies are going to dump Raul Ibanez for the bag of balls that he's worth and they'll have an OF spot open. There is no way that Brown's offense wouldn't at the minimum be as good as Ibanez' horrible stats, so there is only room for improvement. Plus they need a shake up in the worst way. They're unwatchable right now.

I'll say Wallace. I can't imagine what anymore time spent in the PCL is going to do for him, and the fact that Toronto is actually keeping pace (sort of) in the AL East would lead me to believe that his bat would be attractive.
Friedrich would have a great opportunity, as there is a role for him in CO, but his performance has just not been good enough to elicit a call-up.

The only high profile players left in the minor leagues are Aroldis Chapman and Jesus Montero. These are the only two guys who have gotten enough press so that their cards could explode if they do something spectacular as soon as they are called up.

I don't see anyone else on that list that will make that big a splash until Bryce Harper is up.

Neither will be called up until at the earliest this september.

I say the pitcher will be up first.

Obviously. You're not watching. Otherwise, you'd know that Raul is hitting .286 (10 for 35) with a HR, 4 walks, and 7 RBI in his last 10 games. OBP of .359. 4 for his last 10.

Yeah, that's worth dumping....

I don't consider many of those "High-Profile" at this point, either for status or proximity to a call-up.

I couldn't fit the words "More Talked About Than Other Prospects" into the subject line.

Way to go Jeff, you isolated the last 10 games. How about the previous 51 games where he sucked, and the second half of last season where he sucked. Ibanez is done. You're not going to move Werth or Victorino, so Ibanez should be the one to go. Time for the Dom Brown era to begin. This team needs a swift kick in the rear.

If the phillies continue to stink, move werth at the deadline, he's worth some prospects.

Michael Taylor - A's are going to realize that Connor Jackson isn't the answer.

God forbid the guy shows that he's -- maybe -- just maybe -- coming out of a slump. He's just about the ONLY guy hitting for the Phillies during this horrid streak. The bottom line that NO ONE would take Ibanez for the insane salary he's being paid this year and next year -- which means it's either Lehigh Valley, if he'd go there, benching, or an outright release. If the guy is showing signs of coming out of the slump, LET HIM COME OUT OF THE SLUMP! While it's fun to see young guys come up -- and no one was more excited to see guys like Happ and Hamels debut over the past few years -- this is a group of veterans that knows how to win - and Amaro will not let Ibanez languish on the bench for a year and a half when he thinks he can squeeze something out of him, especially when he's showing signs of coming out of it.

Based upon our history of trading major leaguers for prospects, I'd rather hold Werth and take the 2 draft picks we'd get from him walking. We don't need any more CJ Henrys or Phillipe Aumonts.
