It's pretty apparent nobody in the 185 division can compete with the guy. He just toys with them all.

He can apparently cut down to 170. He's fought at 168 before.

He has said he wants to fight at Heavyweight too.

So screwing all the teammate ********, from Heavyweight down to 170, who would you like to see Anderson Silva fight who would give him a good test?

There's Georges St. Pierre. I think that Anderson would physically be too much for GSP with his reach and kicks and whatnot. I think Silva would take that if he were to move down.

Who at 205? Lyoto Machida? Rampage Jackson? Rashad Evans? Shogun Rua? You guys think any of those guys could compete with him? I think Machida would be the toughest opponent out of them all, but damn, how awesome would Shogun vs Silva be in the UFC?

After thinking about it before starting this thread, I would like to see Anderson fight this guy.

Rogerio

I think that'd be a great fight. Rogerio's a damn beast and Silva wouldn't be able to toy with him and ***** foot around like be did with Cote, Thales and Maia.

Anderson can beat anyone at 170 185 and 205 except for Machida (who he'll never fight). At HW he can't compete with the big guys. They're just too big for him. Even though he's light years faster than them they can eat his shots and grab him. I see him beating GSP based on quickness and size. I think he's the only one quick enough to sprawl/elude a GSP take down and get in 2 shots while dodging it. He's already embarrassed everyone at 185 and will do the same at 205. Lets not forget that he also has a black belt in BJJ. Maia's BJJ is off the charts and the best in the world so he wanted nothing to do with it. If you put Silva with any fighter that's agressive he wins. He's simply the best counter puncher in the world. That's why he's not engaging people he needs fighters to come to him. Forrest took the bait and got a straight up ass whoopin.

Jon Bones Jones. Call me crazy but he would be Anderson's worst nightmare.
Have you ever seen Silva fight? He would eat Bones alive. Silve thrives on counter punching aggressive fighter. He's faster than Bones. Will not get taken down by Jones and on the off chance he does will probably finally showcase his BJJ. As of now Bones stands no chance.

What about Carlos Condit?

Doubtful. He couldn't get buy Marvin Kanpman's stand up to get him to the ground. Silva's stand up is a trillion times better than Kampman's. I just don't see another human being @ 185 even challenging Silva. Maia was the only person who's BJJ was better than Silva and he couldn't sniff Silva. You would need someone with Maia's BJJ skills that has the stand up and quickness to get a hold of Silva. That person does not exist.

Hell No.
I'm a HUGE Condit fan, as I've met him and he's a great student of the game and is VERY knowledgeable.
But he's 170 and is actually a small welterweight in my opinion.
*He should of won that Kampmann fight as well. Bad decision.

I'd like to see Silva face Belfort and i'd LOVE to see "Nate the Great" get his rematch!!
I've love to see B.A... I mean Rampage kick his ass.

I think Jones could be a good fight. And besides, if he is taken down, Silva can be controlled. Remember what Hendo did?

HAHA! Yeah, I think Rampage would kick his ass. I also wouldn't mind a fight with Wanderlei.

I want to see him fight.....

NO ONE!

If we are going to get this BS every time, then embarrass him back - harder. Strip him of his belt and send him back to Brazil. The guy just doesn't care and it's a slap in the face to the fans, all the fighters busting their asses to get the title, and Zuffa.

Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
Fool Me three times....F*CK OFF!

I have zero respect for Silva after last night.

Couldn't agree more man.
He was a total tool last night.
I'd love to see Rampage beat the living be-jesus out of him.

I just don't think Rampage could beat him. I think he'd get leg kicked to death. Rampage wouldn't be able to put any power into those punches when his legs are jello.

I think Anderson could just pick him apart.

Sure Rampage may get hit with a leg or 2, but he wouldn't be afraid to attack.
He has the pure power to crush him! Just like he's going to do to Evans.

Well I agree he'll crush Rashad, but Rashad's nowhere near the level of fighter Anderson is.
Never said he was.
But who has Silva fought that has the pure power and aggression of Rampage?
Nada.
