Here is a sneek peak of a card coming my way. I am just making one change to include .406 on the card.
Back still isn't done, but I couldn't be happier with how it is coming!

Looks pretty good, where did you get the materials to make it?

I am not making it, i am not that good...it's the famous "Knuckles" from the PSA boards.

I like the look, the only thing that I wonder is if the auto window could be made to be a bit cleaner and the lines straighter.

Very nice. Only thing I am not sure about is the BIG 9 on the front of the card.
Can you show an example without the 9 on it?
Custom cards are the way to go!!!

If it were my card I'd agree. The lines make it a bit busy for my tastes, but as it's your card, if you like it that's all that matters!

Under the patch it says "jersey." I'm betting it's fake.

The problem is if you want to get the dot of the I in williams, that if you had a plain rectangle, it would be TOO big of a cut. His jagged lines on the cut, is kind of Knuckles signature. I didn't like them at first when I saw them, but they kind of grew on me. I think I would prefer straight boxes too, but tough to do on this card if you want the dot on the I. Not sure why he wanted to save the other ink mark though.

There are TWO i's in Williams, so there are TWO dots. I am sure that is why he kept both??

Yes that is why.

I like how he fits the cut to the card, very unique.

I agree. That is the thing about custom cards, you can have them designed YOUR way, not the way OTHERS like them or think they should be. If you like the card that is all that matters!!

Just a suggestion for the back (I'm not sure what the copy right laws would be on this), have him put a scan of the original card and auto the patch/bat and cut came from in case you ever do need to move it. It's a great looking card.

Very nice.

And in regards to the "jagged" signature window, that's definitely Knuckles' signature style.

I've seen a lot of his Photoshop mock-ups but never really seen any of the final cards scanned, so I'm curious to see the finished product.

The cache comes with a PSA/DNA sticker that he will put on the back, and I will keep the original cards/scans if i ever need to move it, but that is an interesting idea.

Why is the J in Joe and the O in Dimaggio cut off?

it was below a stamp on a cache envelope....i screwed up by trying to steam the stamp off...i didn't think about how it would affect the ink on the sig. A lesson hard earned...btw, that card is for sale if anyone is interested, as i am getting another. Will sell it for $100. I have the psa/dna for it too.
