Wasn't Paul O'Neill in 1985. I'd rank him up there with a lot of the names on the list.
1986 - Donruss RR, Fleer with Kal Daniels

Could add Lee Smith to 1982

Thanks, I could picture the blue fleer card, but got my years mixed up. Probably thinking of Vince Coleman in 1985.

Like him or not, Dwight Gooden belongs on this list (especially if Raines is on it)

Rock and Doc, remember?

Albert Belle (1989), although not lasting as long as most, he did dominate throughout the 90's.

1985 Orel Herschiser, 1990 Albert Belle, 1987 Matt Williams, 1991 Luis Gonzalez, there's more I'll think of later, I'm sure.

I had orel, but someone said if i have orel i needed to add eric davis, so i pulled orel.

Think i got the list to where i want it...belle should probably be on it, but he has been blacklisted from every other list

for retired players, for consideration, please list 2 retired players you think the player is better than, and i will reconsider adding them...but i think i got the "bottom" where I want it.

Eric Davis over Orel, I'd disagree... Career numbers of .269/282/934 are nice, but Hershiser basically owned 1988, 23 wins, 15 complete games, 59 scoreless consecutive innings (still a record), NL CY Young, NLCS MVP, World Series MVP against the Bash Brothers, and 95 ALCS MVP with the Indians...

*edit* just saw your request for 2 people. I'd put Orel ahead of Joyner, Giambi, Mussina, Kendall (what), Lee, Dye, Carpenter, Ibanez, Aramis, Tejada and Magglio.

isnt schilling 89?

Aren't Gallaraga and Joyner '86? Semantics. and '85 makes me think of Gooden and Eric Davis before Orel
