:lol:hofautos said:I will settle this fairly...whoever is the winner of the 2009 WS, is the team of the decade!
Well, if you want to go decade by decade starting with the year 1, then no, 2000 is most definitely not part of this decade. '1-'10 '11-'20, etc.vwnut13 said:Honestly how can anybody not think 2000 was part of this decade?
Was 1990 part of the 90s?
Was 1950 part of the 50s?
How could anyone not think 2000 is part of this decade?
If the Yankees win this year they are clearly the team of the decade. They won the division all but one year. If they win the WS they have 2 world series and 4 appearences.
The Red Sox made it to the world series in 2004 because of the wild card.

Let me say, I'll give you the Yankees for this decade, since I don't give a crap about arguing it.
But, using your logic, wouldn't the Braves be the team of the 90s? They won more divisions.
Answer - of course not.
hofautos said:I say unless Boston wins the WS, Yanks got the decade, based on division championships, W/L%, and making it to the WS..
They are the Winningest team of the decasde.
